Wool seat pad or rug

November 9th     9.30am-4.30pm     £85

These asymmetric round baskets are really popular!  Bring your favourite bit of driftwood to use as a handle, or I can provide a selection.

Suitable for all.

Saturday 7th December     10 am - 1pm      £35 â€‹

We will be using colourful freshly harvested willow to make a hoop base for the wreathe, which can then be decorated with seasonal greenery etc.  These hoops can be kept afterwards and used again.

I will also show you how to make willow stars which can also be used as wreathes and christmas decorations

Saturday 14th December  10 am - 1pm.   £40

Escape from the commercial Christmas hype! Take the opportunity to slow down and find a quiet rhythm while weaving. Make a warm and soft seat pad or small rug using a peg loom and local sheep's wool.

Rush weaving - place mats and St Brigid's crosses

Saturday 1st February      10 am - 1 pm     £40

Rush is a wonderfully soft material to work with - great for those who find willow a bit difficult!  Rush place mats are very useful and beautiful too.  We will also make St Brigid's crosses, a tradition of Imbolc or St Brigid's Day, celebrated on 1st February.

Birdfeeders and Swallows

March 15th        10 am to 3pm       £60

These birdfeeders are a good introduction to weaving with willow, and are ideal for feeding hungry garden birds!  They also have other uses, such as storing garlic or fruit, or using as a planter.

We will also make a willow swallow, a timely creation as we start to look out for the return of these migratory birds.

Suitable for all.

Easter flower basket

April 19th       9.30am-2.30pm       £65

The zarzo technique looks complicated but is satisfyingly methodical and we take it step by step to produce these impressive looking but very functional garden trugs. The finished basket has many other uses...foraging, storage or just decoration!

Suitable for all.
